I never really like this word..
Sounds more like "F**K you" in a more polite manner.
Imagine you're talking to someone n then he/she says "whatever la"
It's the same as "F**K You! Do whatever u want!"
It's pretty offensive for me, and when certain people say it to me, especially...
Please try to minimize saying whatever to people..
Try using words like Up 2 u or anything is ok, It's more un-harsh to people
